The Long Valley Garden Club was founded by Marion Kerby and other passionate community members more than 70 years ago. Their legacy lives on today in a special place we call The Kerby Garden.
To honor Marion's legacy, Long Valley Garden Club members transformed the empty lot where the Kerby Building once stood into the Kerby Garden - a peaceful downtown Cascade retreat.
The Garden features a member-created mosaic tile mural, a pergola and seating benches, a walkway paved with historic bricks from the old Boise-Cascade sawmill - many imprinted with manufacturers stamps.
